Mississippi Senior Photography Experience

Celebrating Seniors & College Grads

Senior year is such a special season — and your photos should feel just as exciting as the memories you’re making. My goal is to create an experience that feels easy, fun, and completely true to who you are right now.

No stiff posing. No pressure to perform. Just a session designed around your personality, your style, and the things that make this season of life yours.

Whether you’re finishing up your high school experience, celebrating graduation, or wanting to document a milestone, my goal is to make your experience natural and unforgettable <3

Misssissippi State Senior Portraits

A Note for Starkville College Seniors

This business of mine all started when I photographed my college friend’s graduation in Starkville—and honestly, seniors have held a special place in my heart ever since.

Want to know my favorite? The Mississippi State senior guide, a guide curated for Starkville grads, which includes location choosing AND guidance on outfits. As a two-time State alum, this place means the world to me, and photographing seniors here never gets old. Fall & Spring grad season are my favorite times of the year!

The Process

Starkville Senior Photographer
  • Once you submit your senior inquiry form, you will receive an email with more info on next steps. You can book a consultation call or wait for me to reach out to get in touch!

  • We will collaboratively find a date and time that works for the both of us. Just a reminder my Saturday’s and Sunday’s book the fastest. I do offer weekday sessions, but no more than 2 per week. I try to only shoot during morning golden hour and afternoon golden hour to ensure our lighting will work with us!

  • Because Mississippi is SO unpredictable with weather, especially during the spring, I keep open enough week dates available to be flexible when weather comes up. Good news is I have never ever had to cancel a session because of weather, we have ALWAYS made it work :)

  • You will complete a booking proposal that will include your contract, questionnaire, and 50% retainer fee. The questionnaire will help guide me in planning your session. I will tell you where to meet, when, and even give you best outfit changing spots. You never have to worry about being in the unknown. I consider my process to be effortless on my seniors and grads as I do all the back-end work to prepare for our day!

  • You will have copy rights on your photos- meaning you can print freely whenever and wherever. I do have a built-in photo shop in your gallery if you want to go that route. You will have an only gallery that never expires and has no limits on downloads. It is yours, freely!

I send 48 hour sneak peeks with about 5-10 photos from our day, in the case you need them quickly. My turnaround time is 4 weeks, but for college grads, I have always sent galleries before graduation day as long as your session is within 10 days of graduation!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely. Most seniors say this before their session! I’ll guide you the entire time so nothing ever feels awkward or forced. My goal is for your photos to feel natural and confident—like the best version of you.

  • Yes, please! Your senior session should feel like you. Whether that means bringing sports gear, instruments, books, college merch, or choosing a location that feels meaningful, I love incorporating details that make your photos personal.

  • I combine my creative eye with local knowledge. Whether it’s a hidden gem in Tupelo, a classic field in Starkville, or a stylish corner in Oxford, I’ll find the locations and angles that make your session unique to you.

I location scout quite often to know the seasons, such as when they mow down certain fields for Spring or when the rose garden looks dead. Yet, you are a part of the entire experience.

  • Absolutely! Parents are always welcome to join, watch from the sidelines, or help make the day feel comfortable. I communicate primarily with moms for high school seniors and even some college grads! I love working with parents to help create a special session and celebration for their child.
